Top off the tree

I bought this in the clearance isle at AC Moore.  I should have taken a before and after picture but I was too excited to get this part done:)  Enjoy!
And here is the completed tree in all its glory.  I must say...I surprised myself with how well this turned out!

Let's add some garland

I bought these "spools" at AC Moore.  I rolled them across the Early Espresso classic pad to make it look a little bit aged.  I cut strips of fabric and adhered using the Big Shot multipurpose adhesive sheets.  This stuff is like fly paper but it's awesome and works really well.  I then tore strips of fabric and tied them to the antigue lace ribbon. I also added buttons...

It's the Final Countdown!

Yes I'm still here:)  been busy making Christmas cards and shopping and keeping kids busy:) But I did whip this together quick tonight...no really I did...in less than an hour.  I bought a red cookie sheet at Target and got these wedding favors at Michaels.  I decorated the cookie sheet using the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrapping Kit and used the 1 3/4 and 1 3/8 inch circle punches.

I hot glued the little favors to the cookie sheet and here it is:)  So much fun to make!
